Consider the past to better understand the present.
The past doesn’t simply disappear. For many of us, it continues to shape how we feel, think, and relate to others in the present moment.
Psychotherapy invites you to explore your experiences, lighten their emotional weight, and develop a clearer understanding of yourself, your needs and the choices available to you. When familiar patterns repeat themselves, psychotherapy offers a process that can support meaningful and lasting change.
Meet Lynn Ramsson
Lynn is a BACP-accredited psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner and clinical supervisor based in Hove. She has worked with many individuals who feel stuck in old patterns of feeling and behaviour and have sought a different way forward.
Lynn’s approach is collaborative and responsive to each individual. She works integratively, which means she draws on a variety of psychological perspectives and theories depending on the needs of the therapeutic relationship and the preferences of the client.
Working together
EMDR Therapy
EMDR is a trauma-informed therapy that works with your brain’s natural healing processes. It engages with the difficult memories that persist in your nervous system, your recollections and your body.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy offers a confidential, non-judgmental space to explore what’s happening in your life and inner world. It offers time to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
Supervision
Both individual and group supervision offer opportunities for trainees and fully qualified therapists to reflect and grow. You’ll be supported, challenged, and encouraged to be brave in your work.
Training
Workshops and training sessions for GPs, GP trainees and others are interactive and lively, allowing those in the caring professions to make links between their professional and lived experiences.
